ABOUT JOHN WOODFIELD
British Wheel of Yoga Student Teacher
John is a yogi who loves rock climbing, walking in nature and spending quality time with the family. He loves to engage in long training sessions at his local gym with music and headphones. John is a massive advocate for fitness and wellbeing and loves training almost as much as he loves his three cats. He has a black one and two tortoiseshells.
John has practised mindfulness and yoga for 8 years, he has a Foundation Diploma with the British Wheel of Yoga and is a student in his 3rd year of the 500-hour yoga teacher Training Diploma also with the BWY. Following a long history of health problems, yoga has literally transformed his life and allowed him to grow and develop his craft without the pains and stresses of life holding him back . John’s practice lives on and off the mat and encourages the same embodiment of yoga to all students in every area of their lives. He began teaching in the spring of 2023 and finds it a privilege to help students work towards their personal goals and improve their general wellbeing. John’s sole intention for his classes is to improve physical and mental health.
